In 1984, we decided to start our new business. We worked for approximately 10 years for other electrical contractors doing various work, from wiring new homes to working on nuclear power plants. As with any new business, you need all the help you can get. So, my wife and children often pitched in to help anyway they could doing book work, answering telephone calls, and even helping to pull wire on jobs.
Today we have a very competent staff of electricians, and other professional people, that handle our daily operations. And, we have the tools and equipment to complete any size job. The best part is we enjoy what we do, and thrive in keeping up with continuing education, new products, and the latest technology.
We have met many new friends, both as customers and vendors, over the years.
Some of the most interesting jobs over the past few years have been:
- Restoration of outside light fixtures at the Belleville News Democrat in 1986.
- Wiring of the Sprint internet service provider for AOL in 1993 and expanding it 2 years later to about four times the size.
- Wiring of Bellevalley School District 1995 for internet service to classrooms and upgrading the service to 3000 Amps.
- Work we do for DISA CONUS and DITCO at Scott Air Force Base 1995 to present keeping up with their demand for power systems for information technology.
- Wiring and maintenace of lightning detection site for SIUE
- Wiring new additions at Custom Marbles manufacturing facility in Millstadt, IL 2003
- Rewiring of Shiloh, IL Park and lighting the water tower 2002
- Design build lighting for the 9-11 memorial monument in Shiloh IL 2002
- Installation of WIFI (wireless Internet) Scott Air Force Base, IL 2006
- Standby generators for residential and commercial 2003 to present
- And much more to numerous to list!
